my at-home coffee essentials
honestly i don’t know why i haven’t written this post sooner. bc i love coffee & you guys love asking about my coffee stuff! which just shows you’re my kind of humans.
over the last few years i’ve built up quite a curated collection of coffee essentials. i love every kind of coffee (hot, iced, black, frothy, sweet, etc) so ima hit you with all the deets to make delish at-home coffee.
i’m not gonna get into exact recipes/ratios for brewing coffee bc hashtag google.
if you’re a total coffee newbie & you need some direction—just google “coffee brewing instructions” & then put in whatever method you’re using—drip, pourover, chemex, etc!
COFFEE MAKERS/ACCESSORIES:
i actually switch up my brewing method every day between espresso, drip coffee & pour overs! i love cold brew too but i don’t make my own - i just buy organic cold brew concentrate from the store. here are links to my favorite coffee makers + filters:
1 // coffee pourover: this ceramic pourover is absolutely gorgeous. it makes coffee brewing that much happier. so easy to use & clean! all of amelia’s mugs are beautiful too. i can’t wait to purchase a few of them!
2 // coffee sock: this is the filter i use for both my pourover! it’s reusable & so affordable. saves me money (& the earth ayyo) bc i don’t have to keep buying single use filters. i just dump the grounds in the trash & then rinse it with hot water. every once in a while i wash it in the top rack of the dishwasher for a deep clean!
3 // drip coffee maker: our model is the older (discontinued) version of this one actually. bona vita is a super reliable brand & i LOVE how simple this coffee maker is. it’s my kind of drip coffee maker. i usually only whip this out if i’m making a batch of coffee for 2 or more people!
4 // espresso machine: MY BEST SPLURGE EVER. but really. this one is an investment but for someone who adores lattes + americanos…i couldn’t be happier with it. makes coffee shop quality lattes & saves me sooo much money on buying coffee out! i absolutely LOVE the white color of it too!
note: i use the same beans for all of these brewing methods! i go for light - medium roast coffee beans from local coffee shops!
5 // scale: ok this is a MUST HAVE for pourovers. & honestly just a kitchen staple. i linked a cuuute light grey one that my friend has bc it’s better looking than mine haha. it’s only $13 & worth every dollar! this will help you brew excellent coffee. & you can use this scale for any other cooking things!
MUGS/GLASSE/ETC:
6 // ember mug: ok another investment that’s very worth it. keeps your coffee (or tea) warm for awhile! i use this mug almost every morning bc i’m a slowwww AF drinker.
tbh most of my favorite mugs are thrifted. ALWAYS CHECK THE MUGS AT THRIFT STORES guys. you can score the most unique, beautiful cups! i’m thinking i’ll do another blog post on my fave mugs but here are some quick links:

8 // west elm shape mug: perf size with the cutest modern shapes.
9 // terracotta mugs: i don’t own these ones yet lol but i need ‘em!
10 // weck jars: idk how to explain how good these jars are. they’re the PERFECT size & fit in your hand so well. i use them for all my cold drinks!
11 // gold straws: 3 different sizes! i use these every dang day.
12 // double wall tumblers: love these for tea & for hot coffee drinks! they don’t have a handle but they’re double wall insulated so you can put supa hot drinks in them & it doesn’t burn your hands! plus there’s something magical about seeing the drink in a clear mug - idk.
13 // glass carafe: the glass carafe in the pic above is recycled from a broken tea pot lol but this one is super similar & even has a little lid to keep your coffee warm!
FROTHERS
ok now that i have an espresso machine that warms + froths my milk, i don’t use my frothers a ton BUT before that…i used them every day! they level up your coffee game like no other.
14 // cold or hot foam frother: cold foam cold brew. enough said! this is a 2 in 1 bc it’ll give you hot or cold foam! amaaazing.
