2023 holiday gift guide: for the cozy gals
this second gift guide of the year is always a fun one…FOR MY FELLOW COZY GALS!
so basically i make this list each year based off of things i’ve bought for myself & LOVED lol & then i end up getting it for friends & family because i know they’ll love them too. i tried to include a good mix of home items, practical essentials, beauty & clothes, & some miscellaneous other goodies that i think would be just a real cozy treat to receive!
1 / instax camera
kyle has been pulling out our instax randomly to capture everyday moments & it’s so precious & fun. we keep a stack of pictures on our kitchen shelf & foster loves looking through them & naming the people or moment. they recently dropped this new color 😍 perfect to bring on a girls trip or pull out for a special event or dinner party! we always have it out for birthday parties & holidays 🎉
2 / kitsch heatless curlers
i truly don’t understand how these heatless curlers work SO well, but THEY DO. just get your hair a little damp before putting them in, go to bed, & voila 🤌🏻 perfect curlssss. for the friend or in-law who has an early wake up call & no time to do her hair in the morning! you can get great curls even in just 3 hours time.

lip balm is always a good stocking stuffer, & this one from summer fridays has been a go-to for months now! i’m a lip balm junkie & this passes the test 💯 my other fave ones from them are: pink sugar, & mint! pink is a super subtle tint & for lip balm i prefer clear or subtle. their other colors are a bit too much for me!
6 / parachute wool slippers
i absolutely LIVE in these once the temps drop. gift these to your sister or mom, & give them ASAP on christmas morning so they can take full advantage of the coziness all day! i adore the honey color too 😍
7 / dagne dover bag
a neoprene bag might sound weird, but it’s AMAZING. i’ve been using this bag for weekend trips, & i love how lightweight & functional it is. theres a band on the back that lets it easily slip on your suitcase handle!!! plus it has so many interior pockets & pouches to keep everything organized, which is a must for me. it comes in a few different sizes too but i recommend XL.
8 / dime tuesday date night perfume
i cannot shut up about dime’s tuesday date night perfume, because it truly is SUCH a good dupe of le labo’s santal 33 perfume! gift it to your pal who just got a fancy new job, or the one who’s engaged & looking for a signature wedding scent! this one’s definitely a unisex scent with sandalwood undertones so don’t expect anything floral or floofy hahaha.
9 / wilde house paper to do list
for the girlie who’s always in the middle of five tasks 👋 this to do list is so simple & practical (& beautiful too, of course)! i love to write out my morning list & then pop it on my fridge in plain sight with these magnets.
10 / paloma mug
my bestie boo amanda is the brilliant gal behind the paloma shop, a denver-based pottery studio! every little thing she does makes is magic 🎶 if you’re lucky enough to snag one of her mugs (i’ll share on insta when she launches her website - it’s gonna be beauuuutiful), tbh i don’t know if you should gift it or keep it for yourself 😉 also, if you’re local, keep an eye out for her in-person workshops - i took a handbuilding workshop this fall & it was such a perfect girls night - that would be SUCH a fun experience gift to give a friend 💖
11 / salt & stone santal & vetiver candle
obviously i had to add a candle to the list - this one from salt & stone is new, & it’s a perfect dupe for the Le Labo santal candle!!! can you tell that’s my favorite scent yet 😜 while you’re at it, add their deodorant to your cart for yourself too! i love allll the scents.
12 / experience: facial
file this under: things every gal loves, but wouldn’t buy for herself! if you’re in denver, alchemy face bar is the place to go - i’ve gifted their blackberry detox facial to a bunch of friends, & they all love it, as do i.
13 / kindle oasis
i love a paperback book as much as the next person, but the practicality of a kindle cannot be understated. i love that i can read one-handed with a sleeping or nursing babe in my arms, it’s so easy to slip into your bag for on the go, the battery lasts soooo long, & there’s no annoying backlight to keep you awake at night! i have two white kindles (which they apparently don’t make or sell anymore???) but my friend just got the kindle oasis & she loves it. takes it up a notch with a biiig display & page turn buttons 🙌🏻
14 / primally pure gua sha stone
gift this alongside a facial (or some cute skincare products) & she’ll be the happiest gal around! gua sha SERIOUSLY helps de-puff my face (& it’s so good for lymphatic drainage) ✨ i use mine 3-5x a week. here’s a great tutorial!
15 / quilted toiletry bag
how cute is this quilted bag for travel 🥹 fill it with a few of her favorite beauty products (or a few of yours…lip balm, a face mask, a hydrating serum, the list goes on!) & tuck it under the tree for a gift where even the wrapping looks so cute 😍
