2023 holiday gift guide: for toddlers

as promised, a kiddos gift guide tailored to the spunky toddlers in your life! if you don’t personally have a toddler, peruse for nieces/nephews or friends’ kiddos 🫶

we own every one of these items & stand behind them as fun, practical items 😊 some of this is more girly since I have 2 girls but click on each link because there are different color/pattern options for most things!

1 / kids scooter

Foster is obsessed with this scooter. it rides pretty impressivelyyyy smooth, plus it’s very cute + lightweight, & will keep kiddos active during the cold days ahead (if you are like me & let your kids scooter in the house) 👍 it’s a bit of a splurge for a kid’s item but it’s one of the best purchases we’ve made. kids LOVE putting things in the little basket too. i plan to buy the trike and/or bike for the girls in the future too!

2 / snack spinner

a true LIFESAVER for airplanes, long car rides, waiting rooms, or anytime you need a dozen snack options (which you know with toddlers, is basically always). they love pressing the button to spin it to the snack they want! the bottom is dishwasher safe but the top isn’t—ask me how i know 🤡 lots of color options! we have the larger size.

3 / reading blocks

these montessori style reading blocks + cards are adorable! a perfect way to get kids interested in letters + reading.

4 / audwell learning tower

pretty sure a learning tower is the best ‘toy’ we’ve ever bought. as soon as Foster could stand on her own we pulled it out, & she’s used it every day of her LIFE since. such a good gift to encourage independence + cooking in the kitchen with you. kiddos LOVE to be on our level. you can adjust the step plates as well as remove the back bar once they get older. i highly recommend this one from a mama owned small business but here’s a cute one at a lower price-point too.

5 / bath crayons

the perfect craft option is the one where cleanup is SO easy because kids are already in the bath lol snag these for the long winter nights ahead, when an hour-long bath at 6pm is the only thing keeping everyone alive ’til bedtime!!! they’re nontoxic & sooo easy to wash off with a wet washcloth. Foster became unenthused with baths for awhile but these have made her love them again 🛁

6 / silicone gardening set

cutest lil set! lots of color options. great for a sandbox or sensory table like this one that we have & love!

7 / kinto KID water bottle

leak proof, the perfect size, & reaaaal cute. we always have this in tow with water or electrolytes!

8 / kid safe knives

aesthetic kid safe knives, ayyyy! warning: they WILL give your in-laws a heart attack because they look like regular knives lol invite your toddler to cook with you (& practice their fine motor skills) by gifting them their own special set of knives. foster uses these multiple times a week!

9 / drawing tablet

if you’re traveling for the holidays, for suuuure snag this tablet first! it’s basically a different form of etch-a-sketch. you draw on it with the pen & erase everything by pressing the silver button at the bottom. creativity & distraction all in one 🙌🏻 we like to keep one in the car even for short rides 🚗

10 / montessori tool kit

Foster loves all things tools (probably because she’s so used to seeing Kyle use them!) & she is super into this little set. very good for fine motor skills too 👍

11 / crocheted fruit hair clips

you know i’m into fruit these days!!! as is the rest of the world haha these are affordable & darlingggg. perf as a stocking stuffer!

12 / strawberry pjs

these ribbed strawberry pajamas are so soft n cozy! there’s a shorts version too as well as some other cute patterns.

13 / very sweet book

this book is PRECIOUS 🥺 i bought it for her easter basket this year & it’s in my top 3 kids books.

14 / neutral magnatiles

okay but for real, magnatiles are pretty addicting to play with for adults too 😂 Foster’s absolute favorite toy right now, & i love playing right alongside her. plus cleanup is sooo easy. these are a HIT with every kid that comes over ages 1.5 to 6 👏

15 / play smol bounce house

a bounce house may seem excessive, but it’s the MOVE. this was Foster’s second bday gift & we’ve gotten lots of use since. perfect not only for hosting any kids party (or any party where kids might be in attendance!), but also for setting up in your basement when you reach the end of your rope this winter. we’ve put it up inside & outside!

one more to come! any guesses which gift guide will round out our 2023 series?!
