confession: even though my house is almost always “tidy”, i’m not even a little bit organized. i wanna be organized SO BADLY but for as many times as i all builds up again (like bad. really bad) 🌪🌪🌪but i’ve caught some kinda summer-cleaning bug & i’m ready to weed through + give away #allthethings. i texted a friend today & said “can you help me KonMari my house?! i’m embarrassed to show you my closets but i neeeed help” 😂 thankfully she said yes!!!

i’m really doin’ it, guys. room by room, closet by closet...i’m purging, simplifying & organizing all my ish 💪🏼 & IT FEELS SO GOOD. marie kondo & emily ley wrote incredible books on simple living that have been helping me a ton through this process. ⠀⠀⠀

based on their approach, here are the questions i’ve
been asking myself as i sort through each item during #operationsimplify (i like to name my personal projects 😂):

1. does it bring me joy?
2. is it good quality?
3. is it my favorite?
4. does it fit? (for clothes!)

if you’ve been wanting to simplify your space...doooo it 👏🏼👌🏼🙌🏼 your brain will feel so much clearer & your soul, so much lighter! i’m loving every second of this new journey 🤗

don’t be afraid to ask for help! if you’re not naturally organized (like me)…ask a friend who is a profesh! i bet they’ll be so glad to help a sista out.
