tour of the 2023 HGTV dream home
a few weeks ago i was invited by LL Flooring to tour the HGTV® 2023 Dream Home & it was sooo much fun.

this mountain home is on 2.4 acres & has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, inspired modern living features & theee most amazing outdoor living spaces. here are some snapshots from the beautiful house!
i was immediately greeted by so many smiling faces & a mocktail! truly the HGTV & LL Flooring staff were so kind & welcoming. i loved spending the afternoon with them!
the very first thing i noticed was the STUNNING wood floors 😍 sidenote: this hallway opens up to a secret nook - see it here!
okay back to these flooooooors. they’re white oak engineered hardwood & they truly make the house. the picture below & on the website appear darker than the floors in person! kyle & i are huge fans of engineered hardwood because they’re easy to install & perfect for kids + dogs. our whole top floor of our house is engineered hardwood!
this flooring is used throughout all the main living spaces, including the bedrooms! i love how neutral it is - not too cool or warm when it comes to the undertones. we still need to swap out the carpet in my office + guest bedroom & i am soldddd on these floors.
can you even with this mudroom?! low pot filler to refill dog water = genius 👌
the three bathrooms were all so unique & reallyyy had me considering using more colorful paint colors in our house! they were simple yet warm, & the LL Flooring porcelain tile really pulled each bathroom together.

i don’t even love baths but this view could convert me 🤩 something neat about this tile is that you can actually install it on the floor or add to walls in your bathroom or kitchen!
the laundry room had me so inspired to make us prettier + more functional! this flooring is a waterproof cork & i did nottt even know cork floors were a thing! it’s perfect for a laundry room or bathroom in my opinion, because its waterproof core made of composite cork protects from spills & splashes. the cork does a great job diffusing sound as well!
